The Courses

The course is divided into

CAP-I Six Months

CAP-II Nine Months

CAP-III Three Years (Including Practical Training)

This is an entry level for Chartered Accountancy course.

Eligibility Criteria for CAP I

The following students are eligible to register for the course.

Students completing higher secondary (10+2) or certificate level examination from recognized academic institutions having minimum of GPA of 2.4 or C+ Grade.

Graduates or Post graduates who have score less than 50% in commerce and/or less then 60% in any faculty other than commerce.

Admission for CAP I

Examination is held twice a year – one in June and the other in December. For appearing in the June examination, registration should be done on or before the end of November of the preceding years and on or before end of May for the December examination.


Eligibility Criteria for CAP II

A person in order to join the CAP II should

Pass the CAP I examination OR

Be a graduate or post graduate in Commerce, Business administration or management having accounts, audit and Tax as major subject and secure a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. OR

Be a graduate or post graduate in Commerce, Business Administration or management having major subjects other than mentioned above and a secured a minimum of 55% aggregate marks OR

Be a graduate or post graduate other than above with minimum of 60% aggregate marks.

Admission for CAP II

For appearing in June examination, registration should be done on or before the end of August of the previous year, and on or before the end of February for the December examination.


Eligibility Criteria

To enroll in the CAP-III Level, a candidate must have

Passed both groups of CAP-II Level Examinations.

Registered as an articled trainee under a practicing Chartered Accountant by signing an Articleship Deed. It must however be noted that the Articleship Deed must be registered with the Institute within one month from the date of signing the Deed.
